Ellsworth AFB, SD USA - Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at 14:57:08 (PST)Yep, this is the most informative fly tying page I have seen. They
give detailed instructions with fotographs so you can tell if you are
doing it right. Many sights just give steps without pictures to try and
explain. Almost impossible to follow. Pictures are good and the
instrutions are simple to understand. Way to go. I just hope you don't
make it a club where you have to log in and pay a fee to enter the sight.
Keep up the good work this is definitely the best sight. The next would
have to be flyshop.xom. They dont' come close to the great detail you
guys have in fly tying and fotos. Thanks. No Drag!! Tony Despain <bigtoeage@yahoo.om>

Norway - Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at 15:46:44 (PST)Hi, Just wnated to add my name to your long list of writers. I have been fly fishing for about 44 years. I used to try a lot but my fingers got stiff and so I buy them.
I fish mostly on lakes, here in Texas we have lots of Bass and Brim. Also Crappies. Nothing like flyfishing to get away from it all. Just have to get used to the other fisherman's looks when they see me popping bugs around.
But it is catching on here now and we have a club started.
Later, Great page and I will enjoy it alwasy.

Birmingham, AL USA - Wednesday, September 15, 1999 at 07:56:18 (PDT)I have just begun fly fishing. I have gone once before on a guided trip in Montana and was hooked. I just purchased my own equipment and went for the first time on my own. I fished the Timber Coulee river in SW Wisconsin and I had a great time. I only
had 3 strikes in 2 days of fishing, one of which I landed. It was a 8" Brown Trout and it was alot of fun. Anyhow, I have found your site and it looks like it has lots of great information. Thanks for the resource. Ken Megal <meegs@execpc.com>

We usually catch fish with baited methods, it would be great to have some anglers catch these fish with fly! Derrick <debraden@iweb.net.au>

madrid, USA - Saturday, September 11, 1999 at 16:24:28 (PDT)Good site. A good addition (which could make you some cash for fishing trips or fly tying materials) would be links to your favored fly-tying-materials suppliers. I just got back into tying flies after about 30 years and can't even find a reasonable pr
ice for hooks. And $30 for a decent grizzly hackle patch is nuts. Surely you have better suppliers. Jim Goding <jmgoding@hotmail.com>

Manchester, England - Monday, August 16, 1999 at 09:54:10 (PDT)A great site..
could we have a picture and upload site for fly patterns..
suggest that the site is structured to permit easy exchange of details into a common database format. (name of fly)..(type) wet/dry leure etc (target fish) trout salmon bonefish etc (color pic of fly) use river still water salt etc//
common and agreed file format format would enable us to build the 'mother' of all databases for fly patterns and also to search for new ideas

Fredericksburg, Va USA - Saturday, April 10, 1999 at 17:59:59 (PDT)Every year, N.B. residents can participant in a draw for the chance to fish prime salmon waters on Crown reserve land. As expected, there are more losers than winners. In fact, some groups I know have been applying for eight years and have yet to be ch
osen. I wonder how many New-Brunswickers would support the idea that winners would have to wait one year before being able to re-apply. For many of us who cannot afford outfitters rates, this is the only way we get to fish prime waters. Also, more people
would benefit. Would you support this idea? Paul <saumon@nb.sympatico.ca>
N.B. Canada - Friday, April 09, 1999 at 11:53:20 (PDT)This is a very interesting and inspirering site!
Being a young, avid danish fly fisher with a lot of dreams+plans, but no money (I am a student at the English Department) I find it comforting to be able to live out my dreams vicariously through stories/articles I find on the net. Of course, the articles
are more than that. They are also an inspiration - for new and even more expensive plans!
Keep up the good work!
Some day I will see you out there, on the banks of an American trout river.
Tight lines!

USA - Monday, January 25, 1999 at 11:22:13 (PST)You guys have a super flyfishing page. Keep up the good work. I'm a
beginning flyfisher but want to go fishing all over the world when I have
more free time and money. I'm going to Norhtern Alberta to visit a great
aunt and my cousins. One of them has a cabin at Little Fishing Lake near
Marwayne and Lloydminster. Will be there for two weeks in August. Any
advice on which flies to use for which fish during that time of the year ?
Is Peace River very far from Edmonton ? How should I dress for flyfishing
in Canada during August ? I hope to have the chance to fish on the Bow
River. Are there any spots that are accessible for wade fihing or do you
need a drift boat ? Can I take a flyfish outfit in a rod case onboard a
commercial flight as carry-on luggage with Air Canada ? Any help your
staff can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Omaha, NE USA - Sunday, January 24, 1999 at 09:19:47 (PST)well iam back, spent at least 1&1/2 hrs getting to know the sit . am
very impressed with it. i can see that it will HELP me as i learn this
wonderful life style. (typing not strong suite) as mentioned on my finding
this site, i am a newbe and already i have received a communica from you.
the trip to the black hills sounds up my allie, speacial if camping is
involved. see i camp 19th century style, and can cook up a storm on the
fire. my scouts love it anyway. my wall tent, cooking irons and pole is
all that one needs. if you have never camped in this way, YOU dont know
what you are missing. a base camp set next to an ice cold stream can not
be beat. see you soon. oh i check out the contest of the week, i thought
it was a contest for fly try contestants. that is what i get for reading
(trying) something into title. i know better than that. see soon.

the fine times I've spent casting to rising trout! Keep up the fantastic
