Been sick, busy and too windy to fish! Oldgeezer just got to town again though so we will try and hook up tomorrow and/or Saturday and get some fishing in.
Bill
Still in the "Driving Ms Daisy " routine; but trying to perfect the color combinations tying up some pinfish flies with EP Fibers & flash for the next fly fishing opportunity, which might actually be tomorrow!
Gary and gang…
Been putting in 20 hour days for a while. So tired I can hardly keep the eyes open. Getting ready to go to a convention in Nashville where I teach a bunch of insurance people about computer security and how to save trees. So no fishing in March too windy anyway, heck I got more wind damage now than I had with the 4 hurricanes… I have not even had time to go to lunch with Stev. NOW that is busy…
I am checking in to see what is going on, but it is on the run…
Take care
Harold
Ahoy, I’ve been lurking, but not to much. I havn’t wet a line in a while now. I’ve been very busy with “honey-dos”, work, and “others”.
I just met a gentleman today who is also a fly angler. I’m certain we’ll be getting together and hit some spots.

Dave is that really you? or just the ghost of Micus past?
Didn’t Peter, Paul and Mary have a song by that title? “Where have all the pirates gone?..long time passing…Where have all the pirates gone?..long time ago…”
Trouts don’t live in ugly places
I swear, Betty’s the only one that “caught” it!
dude, what self respecting pirate would admit to being familiar with peter, paul and mary???
Wasn’t that a candy bar?
aaarrrggghhh!
My twin and I are back! Must be a bad moon a rising!
I see trouble on the way with the pirates back from there winter hibernation!
EDave,
That’s “Peter Paul Almond Joy”…loosely translated, I think it means that Peter & Paul are flakey & Mary’s nuts!
Mike
I always found a strong attraction to “Joy”…G
Dang it Micus, you bein’ as old as you are, I figured a slightly altered line from a Peter, Paul and Mary song would bring back fond memories. Peace and Love and flowers…
“Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the flowers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the flowers gone?
Gone to young girls, every one!
When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?”
You know, I have been running that song over and over in my head for a couple of days and I just knew that it wasn’t “pirates”
Now all I need is another distracting song to get that one out of my head.
“If it was easy anybody could do it”
Timothy S. Furey Sr.
ftroop…
Ya want a different song? One that will surely drive you to distraction? How 'bout…
“It’s a small world after all…it’s a small world after all…it’s a small world after all… it’s a small, small, world!”
Oh, s***! now THAT one will be running around in my head all day!
Betty
