I need an address to send these to. They are ready to mail! I threw a couple of extra Chernobyle Ants in for you. They work great around here.
Thanks,
Gig

Flies are in the mail.
Thanks,
Gig
platinum blondes are in the mail as of this afternoon.
Sorry about the hangup. Been busy as can be. Anyway, the following have been received: Mr. Blur, Mark Harsh, Gigmaster, Sagittarius62 and JZ. I’m really sorry because these have been piling up and I just haven’t had time to open and mark them off the list. Very cool flies. Thanks a million. We’re three short of having them all in. JGW
waiting for some supplies that should arrive midweek and i’ll get mine out

The Kid’s woman friend come out from the Cities this weekend with about 3 ft. of black mohair, so I’m now got my Wooleech’s tied. JGW
What :?:
I don’t under stand…
JZ
I have my flies tied for the swap. IN other words, my flies are “in.” JGW
oh, lol, i thought you were tying a mara blonde too sorry
JZ
In my original post the instructions were to check out the Erik Andreasson flies and choose one of his patterns to swap. I reasoned that the majority of tyers who might take this challenge would tie the Mara Blonde because of the beauty and of the marabou. I’ve tied seveal different ones myself. I did the Wooleech as an example of a different one of Andreasson’s flies. It’s not as “sexy” as the Mara Blondes but it’s still a cool fly that will play havoc with LMB. JGW
I thought about giving one of those minnows a try, but the whole epoxy, wire, paper clip thing kind of scared me.
Shoot, don’t be scared. That’s the essence behind doing a swap. JGW
Here u Sagittarius62, I liked the same one but was not ready to take that plunge. Not have exposure to the epoxy part of it and doing a swap was to much on me.
I tried one of those paper clip minnows… i wasn’t very good at it, do you have to shape the paperclip or anything?
supplies came in today i will tye tonite and get them in the mail thurs.

I think pulling teeth was easier. They are done and in the mail today. Sorry for the delay. I was getting frustrated which did not help. I picked the best 10 keep the extra. Had problems and my hands, they just stoped tying nice and even. :?

All the flies are in early so I’ll mail them today! Thanks everyone. This was a fun and educational swap, and the variety of Mara Blondes was inspiring ? perhaps even to our inspiration, Ms. Spears!!! JGW
