got mine today, very impressed! And thanks to Steve for doing all this
Received the first batch of flies yesterday. All look great! Working on getting my first swap fly, a Bloody Mary for the soft hackle. Believe it or not, having trouble finding tinsel for the body. Seem icicles are passe now days and haven’t been up to the fly shop to buy some.
I found silver tinsel at wal-mart a few weeks ago, took me a few minutes but I did find it.
Our local dollar store has it in lots of colors.

Here in Covington, no one has icicles of any color. Pity, one box would be a lifetime supply.
Got my flies in today, lots of good looking flies there. Thanks Steven for keeping me updated on the snafu.
Steve,
Just joined forum today. Would like to join this swap if not too late.
Send Steve a PM with your full name, address, phone, and email address. Glad to have you join us.

yep, welcome aboard - this swap has been great fun and very educational…
Welcome aboard
January flies are in the mail today. For February I’ll have extended body mayflies in grey, green and dragonfly dark.
My November and January Flies are in the mail. Still thinking about what to do for the Feb Swap.
Finally found some tinsel today. Found it at Dollar Tree in Auburn.
They had Red, Silver and Gold. Since I have silver and gold from an old fly tying kit to better half bought at auction, bought the red, $1 for a life time supply. Got a thirty year supply of green in a gift basket last week. So, I am set for tinsel for awhile.
