I have been moved up to oncology. Everything but a mini bar in here. Very nice room. Of it weren't for the bank of plugs, suction ports, oxygen ports, and the like, it would be hard to say it is a hospital room.

Oh! *The heart monitor is wireless! I am hooked up to a little cigarette sized box ( how ironic ) and that transmits the telemetry to the nurse's station.*

    flyfishfairwx,

one of your police officers were going through my part of the highway doing 107 mph with an open container and one of our troopers here in VA. pulled him over, sighted him and had his car impounded. What the heck was he thinking? eh

Well depending on which part of the country he was from he was thinking he was home in the East coast or Alberta, or maybe most likely Newfoundland.. if from anywhere else in Canada, then he was wishing Home was like this

In all honesty sorry for the poor example this POS LEO presented.

But and there is always a but - if you wanted anybody (and nobody does) driving like that then maybe (but I hope not) it should be a PO

    Enough double talk, sorry again..

OK, folks, I am home. I have had 4 radiation treatments and think I am short 5 boxes of blood thinner but will sort that out tomorrow. Home oxygen is on the way and the dog loves me again.

Treatments are taxing. They leave me sore but they gave me good pain meds. 6 more radiation treatments a short break and chemo.

Still got you in my prayers Kevin.

    Default Woo hoo!!!!!

    WOO HOO!!!!!

Last radiation treatment is DONE. I was presented with a little red mylar feather that I have worn in my cap all afternoon and a certificate. It was fun having hairless breast cancer patients doing a cheer in the Radiation Oncology Lounge for me.

It will take the radiation another 3-4 weeks to have had it's full effect. At that time, we will do an evaluation to determine the best course of action with chemo.

BUT THE RADIATION TREATMENTS ARE DONE!
