    Happy Birthday, Ray. Hope you and Fischer have a great day on the water somewhere.

    I did finally get to SWAB on a road trip with my wife in September. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing with no time for planning and / or fishing. Came across from the Elk River area and Fernie over to Pincher Creek where we stayed one night. Down through Waterton and back to the Bitterroot via Glacier and Kalispell.

    Saw some great country and some neat water. Even saw a few fischerman, but no one with a doggie tagging along.

Winter Fly fishen'

Well third or fourth time on the Oldman, below the dam, and it was not a pretty site, my casting I mean, the wind was up and it was chuck and duck and the fly slapping the water.

Did have two hits but nothing to the top of the water, yesterday had a nice rainbow, break the water but that was it.

Not much of that funny white stuff around, don't miss it though.

It should warm up in a week or two, but then will not be able to go.
