Well give me an honest critique when you get 'em. I used a braid for the body, and chartreuse thread for a little "pop"... I think they look fishy as all getout.
The Green Hornet strikes again!!!
Zac,
Your flies arrived in the afternoon mail, safe and sound. Witih this winter storm we're having I was wondering if the mail would come by canoe.
Both flies are nicely tied (didn't break out the magnifyer yet) and will be a treat to copy.

Hap's flies are in the capable (?) hands of the USPS. That being said we should see them sometime in 2013.
Any day now.

Flies are in the return Mail!! How's that for service?
Please let me know by post here or PM when you get your little package in the mail. Thanks everyone for a smooth swap, and a fine bunch of flies. Photos will be up shortly. If you could post your reicpe for your flies on the photo thread, that would be cool.

Ron, I want to thank you for a great swap. My first one and it was a wonderful experience. I won't say it was effortless because I lost some sleep over those flies. Can't wait to get the swap flies, they look fantastic. Thanks again.

REE,
I'm always very eager to see what others have tyed. Actually, sometimes I end up somewhat embarrassed by comparison. Anyway, once posted, I will certainly identify the recipes as you've asked. Ron, thanks for the great job you did hosting and thanks everyone for the total support and commitment to complete this swap on time and without so much as a hiccup.
