My oldest daughter Molly went to Dr & Hospital for emergency ultrasound this morning after some bleeding (she’s due April or May). Dr thought all ok but sent her for the ultrasound…not only is she ok, but so are BOTH babies!!!
TWINS!!..YEP…that’s what she said!! OMG…another PAIR ta spoil!!!
BTW…I sit here calmly(?) announcing this as I am NOT normally an exciteable ol’ guy, but this is the BEST!! PLUS, the 1st Flanagan male of his generation is due to my son Ben & his wife Venus THIS week!..I’ll post when Connor James Flanagan arrives.
Gotta get back on my cloud & ride off to work now.

Your news is the best!

congrats gramps
watch that low pressure ssytem moving in, and have a great ride …
That is good news Gramps. I suppose you will instill some of your Irish persona in them down the road. That is quite a name for your first grandson.
All the best.

Congratulations. Our first child just turned three months old; I’m already looking forward to taking her fishing.
Yikes!
The Mid West will soon be over run with Flannigans!!
Mike will be so high up in the air we’ll have to tye on a kite string to keep track of him!!
P.S. Did you get the CD player we talked about last night?
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!

Now ya gotta learn to double up on the spoilage! You are gonna be too busy with the grands to get any fishin in here pretty soon!
Congrats!
Don
Do they make 4’6" fly rods? Waders, flippers, tubes and PFD’s may be a problem too!! By age 3 those youngsters will be double hauling and roll casting!!
I’m about due for a call from Mike when he takes his break. If I can get him to shut up for a minute so I can ask a couple of questions maybe I’ll get more information!!
I can see it now. The 2006 Ausable Fish In and Mike tied to a tree because we’ve all seen the pictures of the grandkids 6 times!!
May, with our prayers and good wishes all go well.
So ya hooked a double. Now all ya got to do is land em’…Congrats!!!
Congrats, sounds like its gonna be an exciting spring.Great news.Just think when they get older and start crawling around tie a 9 wt to their diapers and you’ll be discovering a new meaning to the words double haul.

Twins!! WOW!! We are so happy for you and Colleen, Mike. Either there is something in the water over there or the Flanagans are vigorus people. My money is on the Flanagans. You better keep that 4wt handy and we may need take up a collection for fly fishing gear. You are going to need it with all of those young fly fishers around.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there’d be a shortage of fishing poles." - Doug Larson
Congrats on the two-fer! All the more to love!
I’m about to order a couple of 5’2#'s to build…should I order three more (the twins plus your sooner grandson)?
Trouts don’t live in ugly places
Thanks to all for the replies! In just about 7 months, we will have doubled from our current 3 granddaughters to 6. The “Grandpa chair” better hold up…my recliner is a favorite cuddling/napping place. I just bought a Koala bear puppet to keep by my chair to play hide 'n seek & “bite the baby’s nose” with. Invariably, when I “babysit”, I get caught reclined & sleeping with the younguns asleep on my chest. Not even flyfishing beats that!
Jack…I DID buy the DVD player you suggested. Thanks!
Jeff…When that little gal of yours is old enough, bring her to Canton & we’ll take her pond fishing & then fill her up with ice cream!
BTW…I THINK my feet hit the ground an hour or so ago.
