Yellowstone Anglers' 2017 5 wt. Shootout

Hope I’m posting the correct link to George Anderson’s 5 weight rod shootout.
Some very interesting results, in my opinion.

I lost interest as soon as I saw they are suggesting a half-weight heavier line. For 5 weights and lighter, I think most anglers will be happier with rods that perform well with “traditional” lines, especially if we’re talking about fishing across the country and not just in the West. I find that most visiting anglers just don’t have an aggressive enough stroke to make the most of super-fast rods without a heavier line. In that case, don’t get a super-fast rod…

Could someone who fishes the G Loomis NRX LP rod please share their thoughts on the rod? Especially if it is a 5 weight.

I have heard a lot about this rod, but have not had an opportunity to fish it or even lawn cast it.

Thanks
