I have a very very good Wright & McGill Grainger Special Bamboo Flyrod that I am getting ready to sell and want to know what it is worth. It is in excellent condition with 5 sections, canvas sleeve holder and aluminum case. The handle has 1938 on it and cork is like new. The metal funnels have no cracks, eyes and wrapping are also like new. Can I please get your input?
What is the overall length of the rod (when assembled) and its weight? If there is writing on the rod, what does it say?
The 1938 is probably the patent date for that particular reel seat and is on most Grangers of that era.
Check this site for some idea of value:

Bill…its a piece of junk. I live right down the road from you in Liberty…drop it by my house. I’ll dispose of it properly.
