While we are busy with things, life whizzes past up and our babies grow up. You have a beautiful young daughter Len, I know you are very proud of her, as you should be. My associate pastor put a sign up on Facebook last week “Guns don’t kill people, Dads with pretty daughters kill people.”
I don’t know where time goes but my son will be 21 in Jan. and my Daughter will be 16, Seems like yesterday I was still bottle feeding and rocking them to sleep.
Last night, purely by coincidence, our entire family ended up at a local restaurant. Our daughter,31, sons, 29 and 28, and the two grand children, 5 and 7. Only one missing was our daughter inlaw. I looked at our older kids comparing them to our grandkids reminiscing of days long ago when the older ones were the same age as the younger ones and we visited the same restaurant. It was one of those moments when time stands still but reminded me that time marches on and though everything changes, everything remains the same.
Good looking daughter you have there. I am positive you love her as much as I love our children. Cherish the moments. There will be times when tears come to your eyes and nobody will know why but you.
I was remmenising with my best friend and trying to remember when we first met. When we finally pinned it down, we realized it had been 35 years. We both just sat there in wonderment thinking, were did the time go. We then started talking about all the things we had gone through, good and bad, the birth of his daughter which is my God-Daughter now 19 years old and how I would go to his house when she was a baby and get up early with her to feed her and let him sleep. The time we put to big of a moter on a boat and blew out the transom. Man time certainly can get away from you. It reminds us of our mortality
