I’m just curious what everyone is planning on taking for flies. I’m tying October Caddis of course, Parachute Adams, maybe some black ants, and SHWAPFs in rust, tan and peacock.

I had tied a bunch of different styles of oct caddis. With the situation I am in it looks like I will not be attending the fish-in, or for that matter the one s comming up next year. Maybe after that I can we will see
It doesn’t matter what I tie, they all look awful. Like balls of feather and fur. I’m just greatful that the planted trout I fish for have the brains breed out of them.
I asked VEE, she suggested October Cadis
Blue winged Olives, Black ants and Pale Moring Duns.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Eric

HarleyBob, sad news, Buddy. Was looking forward to meeting you at the Lowell Fish-In. Maybe next time around.
Like VEE, I’m doing some October Caddis, Cinnamon Caddis, PMD’s, ants, and BWO’s. I’m also tying some gnats in very small sizes.
If we hit the October Caddis hatch like we did last year, the dry fly fishing will be great. If your tying your October Caddis small, forget it. Those puppies are huge. I’m tying on size 8 2XL, with an extended body longer than the shank.
Eric, Lo-Tech, looking forward to seeing you guys at Lowell. Gonna have to engage the cloaking device on the fishing rig so you guys can’t follow me to all the honey holes. Well, follow VEE to all the good spots. She lets me fish them when she’s done.
Oops! I forgot to mention the Humpies. Both red and yellow, in sizes 10 & 12.
Don’t worry Ron, I’m tying the October Caddis large. I’ll tie some in a size 10 2X, but most on an 8 streamer hook.
I expect you and Vickie to share your Honey Holes. I’ll share mine? Honest.
Camp is going to be just as much fun and fishing.
