Took my “new” South Bend #359 8-1/2’ and #290 7-1/2’ out to test lines on Friday; took 4,5,& 6 weighted reels along. The 359 threw the 6 so well I never bothered with anything else; started the 290 on the 4 and it was OK, but it really woke up on the 5. Blooded both rods on gills…
