My pet peeve…Gas goes up 10 cents a gallon and only comes down 5 cents a gallon…if we are lucky!

Even worse the Dial-a-Merry-Go-Round that not only asks “Press 1 for service in English.” but then proceeds with several options and none to resolve the problem you need solved and NO WAY to connect with a method to solve that problem!
I usually end up with the nastiest nasty-gram I can write to the CEO about the absolute refusal to serve customers and how I will go to a company that does believe in Customer Service.
Usually the response is a good deal of rhetoric that states we do not have time to serve customers our concern is income. Not in those words of course.

My problem… it was by ‘pressing 611’ that I received the above message.
Cingular cell phone, billing problem actually. Resolved it by calling another number.
Gas stations raising the price on fuel they have already paid for and have in the ground in storage tanks.

you know,the one that always drives 45 in the no passing zone and then speeds up to 75
as soon as they hit the passing zone.
Even worse you drive 70 and get passed then have the same idiot turn on his blinker and slam on his brakes a 1/8 mile down the road.
I usually give a warm single digit wave on the way by.

They are standard on all cars…not an option!!!

People crashing stop signs, red lights, speeding in school zones, etc & TALKING on their cell phone while doing it! ANY traffic violation while using a cell phone should carry a DOUBLE penalty.

This is my biggest pet peeve and if it offends anyone to bad! Anyone who calls up and says I think it is just wrong that you have an other language on your phones besides english. This is America and true americans speak english. Anyone who thinks that way makes me EXTREMELY ANGRY. this is why.
- If you were a true american you would not speak english and would have a name of running eagle or something simular
- I fought beside a lot of good people for this country and not all were white but when they bled to death the blood was red and you could not tell the difference between theirs and a white mans. They were all good americans and in their death they give the ingnorant %$#$#@! the right to hate them.
- The so called real american came from where and of what race. Good old Chris when he sailed over here flew the flag of spain ummmm imagine that.
This country was founded on liberty, justice, and freedom for all no matter what race or color.
That is my pet peeve and quite honestly I am probably the most mellow person you will ever know until you bring thatup. Again if I offended anyone then get over it.

My pet peeve is not about everyone who smokes, but for the ones who can’t use an ash tray and throw their cigarette butts out the window and for the ones who use an ash tray but then decide it is to full and dump it out beside their vehicle in a parking lot!!! I really wonder what they would do if I went a dumped an ash tray in their driveway?

Yes, we all imigrated here from other
parts of the world other than the Native
Americans as you mentioned. But, and to
me this is a big but, we joined together
to enjoy the same freedoms. Our
forefathers learned a common language and
worked together to make this the greatest
nation ever.
For many generations, people imigrating
to America were doing so to become Americans
in every way and represented what America
stands for. They came here to enjoy the
freedoms and obtain the opportunities for
their familys that being an American
offerred them. English was the common
language and it behooved everyone to become
proficient in it. It was a no brainer.
More recently, that has fallen by the
wayside as it has become more politically
correct to accomodate their languages. I
personally do not agree with this move.
Sorry, but I still believe in America and
what it stands for. And I firmly believe
that those imigrating here have an
obligation to learn the language and ways
of this country for which they have
foresaken thier country of birth. I don’t
think that makes me a racist or a biggot
or any of the other PC buzz words. I think
that makes me an American.
And for the record, every one of those
fine Americans that made the ultimate
sacrifice for our country spoke english.
They didn’t ask America to bend for them.
Rather they made the effort to become an
American in every way and were willing to
lay down thier lives for this country.
I’m not trying to start an argument and I
don’t encourage one, but I believe that with
priviledge, we incur obligation. My $.02

Second I probably didn’t say or write it right. My pet peeve is those people that no matter what someone of a different country or race does to become a american it is wrong they have to be white PERIOD. Should people learn english when they live here YES!!!

Folks I just had a very bad night with stupid people being racist so my words in my previous post were a little strong. To sum it up predjudice of any kind is my pet peeve.
