I know, it’s a waste of money but , then again, “vanity” trumps common sense. Whether or not fishing related, what does your plate “say” about you ". Mine, based on my “signature” here on FAOL is somewhat predictable.

Here’s just what you need to go with your plates.

Looks like from the mileage, this dude has done some fishin’.
My plates are provided free of charge by the State of Washington. There is a “DV” in the number for “Disabled Veteran”. Though a fishing vanity plate would be nice, considering the price difference, I’ll keep the one I earned.

Larry,
Too funny. Mine is FLYTYER!

I have a Trout Unlimited plate.
I had one several years ago that said “BMUZD”. That about describes me, and I keep thinking about getting it again.
Same plate…2 vehicles ago
I like everyones for sure , very neat
My upmost respect goes to ones like REE’s
Mines “OHIOFLY”
MIne says PADYWGN
Mine is on a Virginia brook trout plate as: “TI14IT”. Tie one for it!
The hunting vehicle has “MUZLLDR” Muzzle Loader:D
I once saw a Lamborghini with Illinois " BYBYCOP" plates. My guess is that he HAD to have been a cop or EXTREMELY goofy. AND, upon further investigation ( google) , that plate isn’t so rare. MANY out there from various states.

PS: GREAT plates so far…AND, I do concur with REE’s tag.
All the good and obvious fly fishing words and abbreviations have already been taken, so mine is CDSFLY (caddis fly). It is a specialty plate promoting stream conversation and has a brook trout on it.
You can get a specialty plate in Colorado for just about anything. The BSA Plate was only available for 2 years to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Scouting in America. It took approval from the National offices of the BSA as well as legislative approval. This is the only plate offered in Colorado where the “Colorado” is in a different font. This is in the Wood Badge font. I used to have my Amateure Radio Call Plate, but the BSA Plate is a lot spiffier, I think.
