I just received an unwanted personal message (PM) from:

Wild Man (banned from BB) offering to sell fly fishing goods cheaper than on EBay. He included a link, which I did not open.

Anyone else get this spam?

Can we totally remove this person from the system?

Checking other messages I see I am not the only person hit by this hacker. Too bad idiots exist that cause problems like this.

Wild man had been banned and I have contacted him as well. hoping to hear from him. I banned him as soon as i got up this morning around 0845-0900. there should be no further issues except residual pms’ that where sent.

If you have a simple password…

you should change it.

I guess the banning did not take I received a unwanted message from that same person today.

I’m pretty sure that banning does not keep a person from sending PMs.

I have banned wild man completely.
After speaking to him i gave him one day to change his password and he did not. As a result of this more unwanted pm’s where received. there should be no more after today please just delete the pm if you have one

banning stops you from being able to access the site. This includes pm’s

I received a unwanted pm from Wildman yesterday. I don’t post replies here very often but received a email that I had a pm I didn’t open Wildman’s pm but will change my password.
