As for me, I’ve gone full circle a couple times, and am back to tying my own leaders. Haven’t found anything I like as well.
I fashion the leader with a one size larger mono at the tip and use a perfection loop to attach the tippet.

Sounds like everyone has there own way. Thank you all for the advise!!! So far, I have tried my 7.5’ idea using 4X tippet and have found it to be decent. I am going to be adjusting it a little bit and will let everyone know what I come up with.
If anyone else has advice, keep it coming!! This seems to be a good thread for us novices!!
