Turkey Emerger

The Turkey Emerger is one of my favorite “dark” patterns. On those high and sunny days when too much flash is not working, this is the pattern I turn to. It has done very well for me across most of Pennsylvania, and tends to be the bottom fly for me when fishing a tandem rig.

No I have not. I’ve only tied and fished it in this pattern for trout. Let me know how they ngs work out for you.

Sorta like a take-off on Craig Matthews’ shop-vac which is very popular amongst guides on the Madison River as the dropper.?
