Does anyone have any information on flyfishing in or around Paris, France? I will be there in early June. Thanks, DB
Doogie,
To fish in the Paris area, check the web site (in French) [http://www.pechemouchefrance.com/index.php?page=laseine,[/url:b0023] it is river fishing on La Seine river. Not far from Paris, in Normandy, you have La Touques river: see the web site: http://www.touques-parages.com/[/url:b0023]
To fish in reservoir, see ;http://www.pechetruite.com/chaisedieu/chaise-e.htm (in English) and with Google Earth you could get info on all the lakes and reservoirs in France, go to :http://www.pechetruite.com/Lacs_reservoirs/Google-Earth-e.htm](http://www.touques-parages.com/:b0023) and follow the instructions. Hope the info will help.
There is a number of small, clear spring creeks in Normandy that hold browns. Surprisingly, the Germans have not bought all of them up and turned them into private clubs.
A friend’s father owns a small home and farm on such a spring creek, and they have told me that the fish are wary and tough, and it has taken them some time to figure out how to catch them. Based on what I heard, it might be technically similar to fishing Spring Creek in Idaho.
