I need to get my hands on a Trout Bum 3w BLANK. 7’6", 4pc is preferred, but 8’ or 2pc would be OK.
Mudhole is out of stock and can’t get any by the time I need it.
That’s too bad. Does Orvis sell just the blanks? I know at one time they did.
Possibly. I called today and am awaiting a call from a gal there that may be able to get me a blank off the line. I am not holding my breath.

My lawyer asked for “a nice 3w” He gives me so much latitude with color and everything. I tell him to pay me what he thinks it’s worth. I have not been disappointed, yet. I got it in my mind that a Trout Bum would be perfect for him. I thought about a Winston or T&T blank, but the Trout Bum would fit him to a T. He lost 3 rods an a trip to Yellowstone a couple of weeks ago and wants replacements so he can take off again the 12th. I can build them that quick if I can come up with the blank. If I have to, I will settle for a St Croix, but I would rather have the Orvis for him.
