Trim bands

I’m usng Fish Hawk Vareigated Burgundy thread on my Brown Tiger Eye. Could I use a trim wrap with it? And, if so, I’m open to suggestions because I’m no good with matching colors.
Thanks,
Bruce

You can! How 'bout dark burgundy or simply black?

How about black Metallic?

I have used metallic copper with the fishawk burgundy on the tiger eye blanks. I can post a picture later. The metallic black would probably work nicely. I will have to give that a try myself.

Gold, brass, copper metallics would all look good, too. Just 2 turns to cap the wrap for a metallic. It’s real easy to get too much of a good thing there… If you are using CP, then Garnet would be good. 5 or 6 turns if you use a non-metallic.

You didn’t say what colors you used for the hardware. but something to carry that through would be good, too. If the guides are TiCH, then pewter or gunmetal metaliics would all be good. Dark gray for a non-metallic. Silver or gray for stainless hardware.

Actually, the hardware is titanium, including the insert, made by Pac Bay. A couple turns of gold or copper sound good to me.

With the titanium, maybe an old gold or bronze. Gives a little flash yet stays muted and classy. Mudhole has the full line of ProWrap threads and there are some really cool colors there. ProWrap is made or distributed by American Tackle so 'most anyone who is an Amtac dealer can get it. I got some from Angler’s Workshop but it isn’t on the website, yet. Mudhole is the best place to see all the colors.
