That is a very good tip
Nature always waits to call till your in your waders. It never fails.
The older you get the more often and urgent it calls…
Ah, such is life.
9 times out of 10 you’ll be OK till you step foot in the water!
Ain’t it the truth…
Thank goodness for really long gravel bars with lots of bushes.
look for spiders before put them on.
“Visit the restroom before you put on your waders, and boots…”
Why? Everytime I do that, I will still have to go as soon as I get the waders on!!;)
Forego the second cup of coffee, especially if it’s a big cup.
LOL!!! The leaves on, and the number of, bushes is proportionate to how bad you have to go!!!
Sometimes the best advice is over looked… You are a true fisherman to know to get to the restroom b-4 the waders…lol
This problem made me get zippered waders lol. How far do you go from the river before you “relieve”? A hiking friend of mine always said at least 100ft from any water source, in fact I was VERY sternly scolded by her for this once… Didnt make that mistake again.

If you “poot” in your waders you will smell it all day long…
Cra…p!!! Have to clean my screen again.
I’m surprised no one suggested taking a good handfull of TP with you, for those sudden back end emergencies. Otherwise be careful what you pick to wipe you back side. (another experience learned the hard way)
There is another solution to this “finding the restroom” problem. Fish in places without restrooms. Usually, there won’t be people in the area, and if there are, most of them know all about doing without.
As to peeing in the water. Human urine is sterile - about as pure as distilled water. If yours isn’t, you probably should be in the hosptital, or on some strong meds, at least.
That thing about 100’ from any water source is a “nicety” thing, not a health thing. Considering what is already in most streams and rivers, ponds and lakes, regardless where you are, a bit of urine added is probably a good thing.

As an aside to that…If you feel you may have that type of emergency situation, always know where the nearest suitable tree might be located. You know the one where the boots and waders are on one side and your business end is on the other…
Nazy divers pee in there wetsuits all the time! Keeps em nice and warm.
