Hahahaha, I gather your wife does not fly fish!
Hahahaha, yes you will have to room with her for the next week(s?)!
Just remember that in the end you can “lend” it from your wife.
Hope you had the good fortune to buy a good rod that’s worth the effort!
Hahahaha, I hope the dog sleeps inside!
I still hear about going fishing on Mother’s Day when my ex was carrying our first. While the ex won’t speak to me, I hear it through the girls. “Mom still talks about…”
She wasn’t a mother, yet, for cryin’ out loud!
What’s this about a shed? You put that poor sweet pup in a shed, at night, all alone, in the cold, shivering? HUMPH!
We have a beagle. They are a blast. Ours is really kid friendly, and LAZY!! Although they really do love the outdoors. I am lucky to have a large area that I can let her roam free and chase rabbits during the summer.
The oldest daughter has a beagle that is a great dog. He’s getting on in years, but from day one would get a toy out to play with and when he was done, or wanted to play with something else, would put his toy away in his toy box. He did this without being trained to do so, just one of his personality quirks.
I have been trying to teach the Guard Poodle to do that, but she doesn’t do any better with it than the kids did when they were at home.
I thought this thread would get some good responses. My wife does not flyfish, though I am hopeing to remedy that and she seems somewhat receptive to the idea. My wife thinks it is funny, so at least for now I don’t think I’ll have to room with Miss Lady. The rod is a 3/4 wt 7’6" from Albright. I even remembered to send them and email and thank them for sponsoring FAOL. I’m usually terrible at remembering stuff like that. Anyway, my Dad had a great idea, he thinks I should get Miss Lady a Christmas present. I wonder what a beagle would want? I’m guessing a new 7wt?
