I have seen many wild brookies in my day. Not many are portly like this wild one is.
The really amazing thing is this trout was caught way up in the headwater and this is a male brook trout.
This is not brooder sow that eats until it is about explode.
Holy crap. He must have himself a fine spot in the shade somewhere with lots of nymphs, crayfish and terrestrials. Good going man
