I am slowly sorting through my layers of fly fishing ‘stuff’ preparing for my donation to Project Healing Waters next year and I found a mailing tube. Inside was the “Fisher” story on brown parchment looking paper, #45/500, so I know there are a few copies out there. It is signed by ‘James Castwell’, a man I greatly admired. I tried to do a search using some key words to see if the “Fisher” story was within the FAOL library but I could not find it. I figure it should be so if no one knows where it is I guess I could transcribe it and see if I can get it retold for others to read.
Larry, there was a copy of an article written by JC found in the JC 1997 archives, and offered here, the 2nd quarter of 2007. When sought, it replies, 404 Not Found. Perhaps this was part of our legacy that was lost when the new system was put in?
Sagefisher, There was a mamber ( Italian screen name ??.. Parmetti ??? or sumtin) from Minnesota ( some Lake name town) that archived ALL FAOL “stuff” . He offered FREE copies , tapes, disks etc. of his files to anyone who requested same. I’m sure he sent out a few to NOW “active” ( is there such?) members that could possibly still have your requested information.
Mark
PS: member too Also, after a dose of Prevagen;) the gent’s name was “Parnelli”
I guess I could type it into a Word document and then copy paste it into a message, I just don’t know how long a message we are allowed. But I will give it a good try, be a nice project.
Marco,
I remember Parnelli or something such spelling. A lot of the more seasoned (cute way of saying older) members are not on line anymore.
