Thanks for that. I found the first one and read it last week, but overlooked the second. Must get that as well. I’m really enjoying all these older books.

What I really enjoy is the precision in the dressings, like the tails being “two fibres from a brown cock’s hackle”, etc. It all sounds overly specific, but I’ve tied a few and they look really smart when dressed slim, with tiny wings, sparse hackles, and these 2 or 3 fibre tails.
