The Chocolate Sunset is one of my favourite flies for fishing through the late afternoon into the evening
Materials:
- Tail: A Pinch of Cock Hackle whisks
- Body: Rust Brown Uni Thread
- Wing: Hot Orange Antron Yarn
- Hackle: Furnace Cock or Saddle Hackle
- Head: Tying Thread
- Hook: Kamasan B160 Size 12 to 16
- Thread: Rust Brown Uni Thread
Wrap hook Shank from eye to start of bend with tying thread

**Step 2.Tie in Tail Material
**
**Step 3Catch in the Wing Material
**
**Step 4Trim the excess wing material. Ensure the cut slopes to the rear
**
**Step 5Tie down the wing material and start forming the body using the tying thread.
**
**Step 6Build a neat body and finish in front of the wings
**
**Step 7Build a small dam in front of the wings with thread and Post the wings Upright
**
**Step 8Once the wings are Posted Split the material into two equal parts using figure of eight turns of thread. Once split. Take two turns of thread around the base of each wing and finish with a half hitch behind the wings
**
**Step 9Once the wings are split, tie in the hackle with the dull side facing forward
**
**Step 10Wrap the hackle forward with tight close turns three turns behind the wings and two or three turns in front of the wings and tie off
**
**Step 11Tidy up the head area and form a neat head with the thread
**
**Step 12Whip Finish the head and clip the thread
Step 13.
Trim the wings to size
Step 14.Apply a dab of head cement.
[slightly longer than the hackle barbs]
Step 15.GO FISH! AND HAVE FUN
