When I was at the Federation of Fly Fishers, Fly Fishing Fair, in West Yellowstone, MT last week, one of the items donated to the FFF as a fund raiser was an original watercolor of a Tenkara fly. Misako Ishimura painted it in the traditional Japanese manner of using a rope as a paint brush. It is beautiful. I was able to out bid others and now that painting is mine. Now if I can just get two more of her paintings I can have a grouping of three.
Add me to the list of those who would like to see it. Misako is a very nice lady as well as a fine fly tyer and painter. We had the pleasure of her company at dinner during an Ellensburg show a few years back.
