Suspender Pouches

I know I have seen these before…pouches or packs that attach to wading suspenders. Anyone know if any of the FAOL sponsors carry them or any other sources. Thanks. Dano.

Could be, Dan, but not that I know about.

Dano,
Have seen them relative to duck hunting…to hold shells whatever… and off hand don’t see why they wouldn’t have an application for fly fishing.

Thanks Gents, I will look around some more. Dan

Try an army surplus store. Much of the old pouches were attached to webbing in various ways. At most you would have to punch a couple of grouments in the suspender.

William Joseph makes something called the Pocket Vest that might be close to what you’re looking for. Not sure which sponsors would carry it.

Don’t know how much weight (six-pack or assortment of flies and leaders) you want to put in the pouch? But, you could sew some velcro on the wader, chest high, seal with bees wax or silicone. Put the other half of the velcro on a pouch of choice and Vola!. Put the fuzzy side fo the velcro on the wader, that way when you are not using it, everything under the sun won’t stick to it.

In one of Orvis Co. near monthly catalogues is not suspenders but a wading belt with a built in “tool built carrier”. Probably more functional than on suspenders/JWW

I actually found what I knew I had seen before. I checked a Hook and Hackle catalogue I had from 2003 and found them. It appears HookHack no longer has them, so I had to go here…I think its a close out item…Dan
