Does it work to stain plain cork rod handles…if so what is used?
I’m thinking of applying something like Old English furniture polish and scratch removal.
I have used spirit type wood stains and spirit and water based leather dyes and stains with good results. You need to seal it afterwards and I use wipe on polyurethane. I have used mostly the spirit leather dyes. They seem to work the best. I did use a rose pink water based leather stain and that was messy until sealed.
