Thanks LF. How cool is that

That’s really uplifting. Maybe we’ll start seeing some youngsters on the river in addition to us old grey haired folks.

Good on her. :sunglasses:

It so important that kids get exposed to the outdoors and it’s activities. I read years ago that a child not exposed to the outdoors are less likely to care about the environment. My two kids look forward to summer vacations in the Sierras. My daughter who is 5 years old loves to fish and takes every opportunity to take about here first catch.

That’s good news indeed!

Congratulations to Katie on her efforts and success!

That’s great. Wish there was something like that when I, or my son, was in school. My next door neighbor is a teacher, I am going to send him the link.

Very nice. It makes me wish that I had the talent to teach.

That is Great News!
Hey Ron…I’d like some Gray hair, when I’m out its like a “Snow” Storm…All White:D

That is fantastic, I posted the video on one of our Arizona fly fishing forums, hopefully can get some positive feedback and maybe get a similar program started out here.

What a great program. That’s outstanding.

Ladyfisher,

Enjoyed that! Through the years, I have enjoyed teaching fly tying and fishing to groups of folks at all age levels. Most have been through my association with Trout Unlimited (T.U.) TU has a relatively new program called Trout in the Classroom. There are quite a few schools across the nation that are participating in this program and many more asking for the program in their schools. It’s great to see more of these like-minded programs being started.

Best regards, Dave S.
