Works great for browns in diverse rivers here. They do not doubt to attack it!! Those long pheasant fibers and the Krystal Flash black peacock strands, flashing and moving must be the main attraction.

And is that a pheasant tail “beard” trailing out there?

Juan, That appears to be a rather large fly. What size hook is that? I think the local trout might like a new treat they are no familiar with.

Uncle, yes it is a big hook, #2 Mustad 3366. Just for the very big browns (9-18lbs) in some places. But is also productive in smaller size. I tie them in #10 also.
