Biggest fish so far from the brine in 05 has been 2lbs (probably nearer 1?lbs).
I vaguely recall a picture of a spinfisher in car park and a 50lb (ish) striper caught from a NJ estuary last year. That hog looked big enough; one can only imagine…

I read the 2nd part of that article about McReynolds several months ago in one of the “salt” magazines. Poor Guy!!!
