Here in Central Florida, I tend to use larger flies when fishing for LM Bass. However, sometimes they get picky, so I downsize a bit which seems to work well. I keep a good supply of these small streamers in my bass box for those days. They work great on a wide variety of species from Bluegill, to bass, catfish and Tilapia. I suspect that they would also work well for large Rainbow and Brown, and even Brook trout. I’ve taught several people how to fly fish, from kids to adults, and these little streamers are great for doing that. I tie them in a variety of color combinations and sizes from size four to size ten hooks. Easy to cast, very productive, and essential in my flybox
