Simple but Effective Fly Swap

<<<<SWAP IS FULL>>>>>

I was looking for a swap to join…but all were full! I’ve never hosted a swap before but it seems like volunteers are welcome

So here goes … for all you who have a simple fly that catches fish very well sign up and send your “BEST” Simple but Effective fly … the one you catches the most fish for you. When I say simple…I mean SIMPLE. The one I am going to do can be tied in under a minute! The local legend turned me on to it and the day I fished with him, he took 38 trout with it. (I only got 10 but I am still learning )

Each tier will tie 12 flies. Flies will be due to my address on May 22. I will be tying a simple streamer pattern. I will email my address once the swap fills up.

Please toe-tag all flies (name, FAOL handle, email addy, name of fly) and consider the size of the container needed for return shipping. Container should also be crush proof. As always…include return postage with your package

The list is a follows>>>

This is my first swap, and I’d love to join. Thanks for starting one.

The fly I’ll tie may already have a name, but my dad just called it, “Diane’s Skeeter”.

I think I would like to get in on this one. Your deadline is a little short, but I think I can handle it. I will be tying my CDC Corn Fly. I use it mainly to catch Carp, but it is also effective for Trout and Blue Gills. It also only takes about a min. to tie. Uses only 3 materials. I hope this is ok. Thanks John

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

I would like to join with a Flying Ant. This has always worked for me when I can’t figure out what they are eating.

I’m needing to do some Gill Busters anyway, so put me down. JGW
