A couple of months ago I wrote about our dream trip to fly fish our way to the Idaho Fish-In and promised an update every couple of months.
This started as a “What If?” last year at the Michigan Fish-In. Brad Sherrick (aka kaboom1) was asking about the Idaho Fish-In and was thinking about attending. “What if we drove and did some fishing along the way?”!!

It will be good to see you again, and to meet Brad for the first time. Only a couple of months to go.
Hamilton and the Bitterroot, huh? I have the time, if I have the money, I may join you if that’s okay. The kids will be on their way back to Maine by then and I’ll be kicking it on the Selway and Lochsa. The Bitterroot sounds doable.

Brad here. We would love to have you! I don’t have the itinerary in front of me, but I think we will be there about 3 days. We hope to meet up with John Scott for a day if things work out.Keep us posted on your plans.

We will be leaving Lowell on the 24th (Saturday) for Tucker RV Park in Victor, MT (406 642-3752). We’ll probably do a little grocery shopping before setting up camp and do some late afternoon fishing. We’ll have all day Sunday and Monday morning to fish before heading to St. Regis and the Clark Fork.
