Got out on Monday for the first flyfishing of September. Beautiful day, not too hot. Breezier than expected at times. Stepped on a nail that buried into my shoe, but somehow didn’t reach my foot. Saw a Woodchuck/Groundhog swim across the creek. And a Cicada landed on my hat. Caught about 20 fish of 7 species. Here’s some of them.32" Grass Carp:
White Bass:
Freshwater Drum:

Nice Grass Carp Dave. Dennis
Dave,Heck of a nice selection of fish to catch and that Carp must have put up a heck of a fight. I have never ‘targeted’ Carp, but I have caught a few on some rivers up here in the northwest, the biggest one was 11 pounds and it seriously taxed my 6 weight fly rod before I got it to the boat. They are great fighters. Thanks for the photos.Larry —sagefisher—
