пуляголова мыло саранча sbs

Change color/size to suit your needs; on anything smaller, I’d switch to 1mm foam.

hook - Dai Riki 280 #8
thread - UTC 140 woodduck
body - Ice Dub pheasant tail
shellback/underwing - 2mm foam gold
legs - medium rubber cornsnake
head/wing - elk hair
indicator - 1mm foam orange

Part 1

mash barb, cover front 1/4 of shank with thread

clean, stack, measure (hook length) a clump of elk

trim butts, tie in with 2 soft loops, pull tight and let it spin

tie in foam strip (gap width), wrap to bend

dub thread/dub 1st segment

pull foam forward; tie down

Part 2

repeat

and again

tie in rear legs

fold foam back, tie down

push hair back (try to keep it evenly distributed around hook)

gather and pull back; spin the thread tight and tie down

Part 3

add front legs

add indicator, whip finish, SHHAN

trim out hair on underside

trim wing to length (hook bend), taper; trim legs

Not so sure about trout but southern bream would love a bullet head soap locust. As always, nice job youngster.

Jesse,
Where did you get the name Soap Locust?

By the way, nice attractor pattern and great job tying it. Needs a new name though.

John, my Russian is a little weak (non-existent), is used Google translator.

A winner Scott. Very nicely tied and presented.

ScottP You sure make this a lot of fun. Thanks. I gotta go try to tie and fish this one now lol Again thanks

Head exploded after the 3rd fish; didn’t seem to matter much.
