Well it’s been a while since I posted a rod, just been so damn busy lately I haven;t even been online all that much. But here’s the latest off the bench. This one uses a R.B. Meiser 11ft 7/8w7 4pc Switch blank (Metallica black color blank). Grips I made with brown burl cork, dark mix cork, burnt cork, and rubberized cork (length specified by Bob Meiser). Reel seat is a AW13 black with woven insert. Wraps are Classci twist red/black (Cp’ed) with silver metallic trim. Dual stripper guides and alignment dots on each section.

Thanks Dave,The owner just said he wanted a mix of exotic cork and some normal cork in it so I just took his input of the corks he wanted and came up with my own style of where to put them.
What a coincidence - I just cast a Meiser rod today, and was amazed at how easy the casting is, that is, just a regular cast. Makes me want to go to the coast and do snake rolls.
