Quill Gordon Wet

With March and April fast approaching, it’s time to fill the bins of the "most used’. Always on that list is the Quill Gordon Wet. A staple in my box, as it has been for countless other fly fisherman over the years. A timeless classic from the Catskills.

Hi Ralph, do any of these appear in PA waters such as Penn’s, The Little Juniata, Fishing Creek, etc.? I’ve never heard anyone mention them. Nice tie.

I’ve fished the hatch on the Allegheny, Sinnemahoning & Fishing Creek personally. Said to be a good hatch on Penns as well.

Nice flies, but I like the Hemmingway cigar box as well. I don’t smoke anymore, but love to keep and good un-lit cigar in my mouth when tying or fishing.

Something to gnaw on does calm the nerves.

I haven’t had a cigar in years myself, but the box doubles as both my profile plate and material bin. Plus, I felt it added a touch of class to the tying bench. Something that is seldom found in the chair.
