Question on rod building thread

I noticed that they make a rod building tread that is 100% nylon. My question is does anyone know what the diameter of it is? I was thinking about using it to make some furled leaders and do not want to order any if the diameter is not right. I presently use Coats 100% Quilting thread that is .005 diameter and it works great, but, it only comes in clear or smoke and I want to make some in other colors. The rod building books I have do not give me the diameter. If rod building nylon thread is at least .005 to .006 in diameter it may work. Thanks for any help with this.

Warren I just mic’d some size A rod wrapping thread and it came out at about .004 inches but I may have been compressing it some. I dont have any size E (I think that’s the next size) but that may be what you want.
