rib - x-small wire gold
underbosy - non-tox .030
tail/shellback - peacock herl
abdomen - ostrich herl olive/brown/black
head - deer hair olive
Part 1
cover rear 2/3 of shank with non-tox; tie in wire, cover underbody with thread
tie in ostrich, twist together and wrap to 2/3 mark; tie off/trim
measure (gap width past bend) some peacock; tie in at 2/3 mark
counterwrap rib, helicopter end, cover with thread

clean, stack a clump of deer; let tips extend to hook point, spin
spin another clump, pack it back, tie off/trim, SHHAN
flip it over , set razor on hook eye for index point, push straight back
rough cut with razor and scissors
final cut

That is a killer pattern! Gives me an idea to take a Sparrow and add a muddle head to it. The smallmouth bass in my area kill the Sparrow. I’ll have to add a few of these. Gives me a similar profile.
