Beautiful fish! There’s a lot to be said for quality over quantity, but lots of fish is not a bad thing, either.

It skied right after hook up and did a body shake in air.

How’d he ever get it landed, though, having to play it in all that GRASS?
The steelhead version…birdseye maple…beautiful net.
His net was way inadequate.
The entire length of net including handle was 20 inches.
The head might have fit in the net and thats all.
I took the photo from the place i netted it.
I am in the middle of the stream taking the photo.

Jim was sitting on the edge of the bank. I was in the middle of the stream taking the photo.
The trout stayed in the net until camera was ready and off it went in less than 3 seconds.
