nice…thanks
Sign me up please. I’ll tie up a Stimulator. I’m waffling between a hot butt stimulator and a more “normal” stimulator…any preferences before I start tying? ![]()
You are in. No preference here on patterns, though.
My flies are finished and will be in the mail Monday. I have enclosed extra’s for the Swapmeister. Thanks again for letting me join in on this swap. ol’blue I assume your address has not changed since the last time I sent you flies. John

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.
Yep, same address. I was going to send out info after the deadline hits since it doesn’t look like we are going to fill this one. You are just too fast!
ol’blue I like to get my flies done right away when I join a swap, that way if something comes up or something happens my obligation is filled. I pride myself on my ability to do what i have commited my self to in the time range needed. Thanks again for letting me join in on this swap. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.
Last day to sign up! I will close this one up tomorrow.
I just e-mailed out shipping info. If you didn’t get it, let me know.
Fellow Swappers: I like to include the recipe on the tag when I enter a swap. However my printer has given up the ghost and my handwritting resembles who knows what. So if you want the ingredients for my entry go to my first post on this swap and click on the link.

…I usually post the receipe when I’m done or close to done…

I don’t have a problem with a fly using some other materials. IMO, if you have punch yarn in the pattern, you are fine. Feel free to use the peacock if that is what you like.
Greg please keep the extra’s from me. I appreciate you being the Swapmeister on this swap. Thanks again for letting me join in on this swap. John

cholcomb13 - use the peacock for the thorax if that’s what you’d normally do.
My two cents. ![]()
Ol’ blue;
Getting ready for opening day and a long weekend of camping, fishing & eating! Got the pop up loaded, need a new battery though!? The fly’s won’t go 'til next week got to have my priorities in order ya know!
Wed. night is deep fried turkey, Thur. is Hobo, Fri. is Ham and sweet potatoes and Sat. is catch as catch can!! Got a big batch of Sloppy Joes in the fridge for the Coleman slow cooker and chicken soup ala rainbowchaser is comming Sat.!
Want to tie a couple of old Au Sable fly’s for ya too!
Don’t forget the Michigan Fish-In August 14th to the 20th. The Holy Water’s of the Au Sable await you!!
Cactus
Man, I’ve gotta start traveling north once in a while! And if you throw in some Au Sable flies, I’m pretty well going to have to commit to saving them until they can be returned to their “natural environment”.
Don’t worry about waiting for next week. You still have plenty of time before the deadline.
Sent my flies today. Thanks for hosting the swap.
Just dropped my flies in the mail. As this is my first swap I hope I did everything right! Thanks for hosting the swap it forced me to finally go out and buy some punch yarn. It was nice working with the punch yarn I think I’ll be using it a lot in the future. I’m going to have to I’ve got miles of the stuff :^)
OK…I’ve finally figured out what I’m tying…and I’m done…I will be tying a klinkhammer…will drop package in mail first part of next week…will post pics and receipe later…
ol’blue…thanks
