Possible a solution.

This sedge will I use when the fish carefull bites, and losses everytime. This pattern could be a solution for those moments. (I think you know this fly, but better say it twice than never told)
A normal pattern for a deerhair sedge is with a hackle on (a straight) hook, this is a small variation on it.
But catches sometimes better than the standard deerhair sedge. Because the gap between the point of the hook and the eye is a bit wider than normal and the point floats a bit deep under the surface.
Use a little bit hear’s ear plus dubbing, and a piece of copper thread for ribbing, and wrap it around the bend of a shrimp hook, use a bit of deer hair and tie it in as a wing. Tight lines with it!
(excuse for my poor English)

inderk,
Your fly looks great! What is the company that made the fly’s hook??
I can understand your English fine.
Thanks,
Doug

The hook for this fly is a TMC 2487 size 12, but you can also use smaller hooks.
I tie this fly also on size 14-18, and with different colours of the deerhair, different dubbing e.g. some hares ear plus mixed with some spectra dubbing. Use your own imagination.
An alternative hook could be a Gamakatsu F22 or an different brand shrimp hook made of thin wire.

Nice looking fly. I’ve been tying simalar caddis patterens on Mustad C49S hooks which is a straight eye hook. I wonder if the TMC down eye will make a differance?

Nice fly! Must be something in the water over there. Seems like you European guys are all super tyers

Wow! nice fly! I will definitely have to tie up a few of those!

PS. Your English is fantastic for not being a native speaker; you don’t need to excuse yourself.

I REALLY like this fly!! It should work wonderfully on the trout in South Dakota, and Wyoming!! Thanks for sharing!! Plus, your English is better than mine most days, and I was born and reared here!! (about the time rocks were forming)

awsome fly, i will have to try some up

kool! i like it

That is a nice fly, and looks like a great pattern.
