The Atlantic tying contest for 05 entries are posted. I have two entries. There is a reader’s choice prize category.
I’m shamelessly asking all you pirates to look at the contest entries and vote for a readers choice winner. It would be great if it were me, but there are lots of entries and each of us worked hard to submit our flies. So please vote for your choice.

I’m flattered, LF, that you took the time to associate a particular fly with a single user in the process of putting the new addition together.
There are some beautiful creations that were submitted by some very accomplished tyers. Then there are others submitted more as a growth exercise than anything else.
It’ll be interesting to see who the judges elevate and who the readers choose. But most important of all, everyone who can vote should.
Just a side note; my entry “moose and squirrel” is to be fished, always, with a fearless leader.

Indeed, LF, the RCMP constable who sold me that particular bit of moose pelt and squirrel tail was willing to vouchsafe their origin as being from the original pelts of those same characters we loved in our youth.
It’s rare material ineed. But if you can’t trust a Mountie to do right, who can you trust.
Now, I’m off to inspect my Fenwick.

Bill, you’re right. There is some amazing work there. In all honesty, I can’t even ask anyone to vote on personal bias. All I can ask is that everyone who can vote does vote.

Dave, it’s badenov you are soliciting bribes for votes. But Natashekle can I offer you.
I could call upon cameraderie amongst Pirates, the loyalty of salt water types, even the common background that allows us to utter puns and commit plays on words that others will miss. Alas, my pockets are devoid of ducats, royals, dubloons, and dollars and I can only offer you good will and the clear conscience that comes from exercising one’s franchise.

Cap’n Yid…Did ya know bullWINKLE was named for the giant squid WINKIE? He was a land pirate 'till he took up company with the warped squirrel.
I’ll give ya my vote for 'bout a mess of those flies of yours tied on SS #2’s.
Splitditch, hadn’t heard that particular origin, or have forgotten it if I had…
AS for tying up a mess of those, I’ve got a bunch tied on salmon hooks that weren’t quite right for submission. They’re gonna get shown to some local fish if this weather pattern ever breaks.
Seriously, those are really easy ties, try them.
