I STRONGLY suggest that you start a new post about what NAMES us guys could send in to disguise our real names, so we could win the pink rod. You know, names that we couldn’t get busted for. Of course this is all hypothetical because no one on the BB would ever break the rules.

I hate to get serious about this but I would auction off the rod and donate the proceeds to one of the groups fighting Breast Cancer. We just finished Breast Cancer Awareness month. I can’t say it is my favorite month because too many memories come rushing back. It’s only been 4 years this December since I lost my wife to this horrible disease.
PLEASE - all of you - push your wives, girlfriends, mothers, and any females you know to do a monthly self-exam. It is more important than getting a Mammogram. My wife found both of her tumors only months after her Mammogram showed nothing. The doctors guessed that she extended her life by 5 years.
I fly fish now to stay sane. It’s a little tough to fish here in Ohio during the winter, but I got turned on to Steelheading last year and I’ll be hitting the water Nov. 10th. It’s time for some riverside therapy. Tight lines and stay well.
A Pink Flyrod! Oh! How utterly fabulous… Now let me see… Oh yes I know, It will go perfectly with my day-glo pink Hot-pants with the matching tank top. A nice shade of shocking pink lipstick and some blush from Mary Kay to round out my ensemble mawvelous dawling simpley maw-velous. I bet It simply kills at the next fish-in when I ride up in my Caddy. Why even the cute little fishies won’t be able to resist me. :lol:
raw69 I have to agree with you about spreading the word and urging everyone to get a check-up. I lost my little Sister to Cancer 10 years ago. She made us promise spread the word about check ups.

I am absolutely entering this month. But unlike the other women here, this would be the first pink thing I own! Middle-aged but not to late to learn a little femininity. 
Mostly I want it so that I can see the looks on the faces of my friends when I show up with this outfit and then (in my fantasy of course) outfish them. :lol:
Oh, I may be pink-challenged but at least I know that a peach line will clash with a new pink rod and reel, Jonezee!!
