Congrats! Those stream Grassies must be fairly aggressive. What size hook are you using, and is the SJW weighted?

Dave, That theory I’ve told you about has been working. The bite was aggressive, but the fight was the opposite. What I’ve noticed are the bigger grassies will make a strong initial surge complete with head shaking, but after that, they tire out quickly.
The hook is a Dai Riki 135 in size 8. Ran out of .030 wire, so I used .025.
