Patterns for Lake Ontario Streamers for Downrigging?

Help!

I volunteered to tie some streamers for a friend who wants to fish for salmon, lake trout, and trout in Lake Ontario. He has a sailboat and will be fishing with a downrigger.

Any help with patterns and hook suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post the names of the flies that you posted? I like the looks of them a lot!

My favorite when we fished for Salmon in Lake Michigan was a light blue and white Polar Bear streamer, blue of top white on the bottom with large eyes, fished on a downrigger with silver flasher.
Worked really well.
