Does anyone have the manual for an Orvis C.F.O. III made in England manual? I tried Orvis and they didn’t have one. I would like to get the line capacities etc.

This is the reply from Orvis regarding an inquiry I made about my Hardy made CFOIII:
[i]“The CFO III is 3” in diameter, 31/4 oz. and has a capacity for Weight Forward 4 Weight Floating Line
with 100 yards 20lb Backing, or WF5F Line with 75 yards of 20lb Backing, or WF6F 50 yards of 20lb Backing".

FWIW - I get much better results e-mailing Orvis versus calling them when I have some kind of weird request. To be honest, they have NEVER let me down with an info or part request if the part is available.
When I got the info from them on the older English built CFO’s, it was before they sent me some free replacement reel foot screws for my 36 year old CFO II.
